Privacy Policy
This policy covers the EVNEXUS mobile app on Android and iOS. It does not replace website or vehicle-purchase terms on evnexus.in.
Summary
EVNEXUS is a local rider app. Battery readings, NFC key hashes, and rider details stay on the phone. EVENEXUS PRIVATE LIMITED does not operate an account, cloud sync, or analytics service for this app.
Data that stays on the phone
The app may store a local rider profile and vehicle details you enter, battery snapshots and optional ride-log files you create, hashed NFC tag identifiers if you enroll a key, and app preferences including the NFC feature toggle. This data is not uploaded to EVENEXUS PRIVATE LIMITED. Profile → Reset local data permanently deletes it from that device.
Bluetooth and NFC
Bluetooth is used only to communicate with your EVNEXUS battery management system after you start a scan or reconnect. NFC is used only after you enable the optional key feature and scan a tag. The app does not derive your physical location from Bluetooth scan results. On Android 11 and older, the operating system requires location permission to scan nearby Bluetooth devices; that permission is not used to record where you are.
Notifications
Low-battery and pack-safety alerts are local to the phone. They are not sent through a push server.
What we do not collect
The app has no login, advertising SDK, crash reporter, or analytics SDK. It does not sell data. If you share a battery report, the Android or iOS share sheet you choose is outside this app. Fonts used by the app are bundled in the binary. The app does not download fonts or other content from Google at runtime.
Children
EVNEXUS is a vehicle companion for riders. It is not directed at children under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes, the in-app copy is updated with the app release and this page is updated at https://rudra-ravi.github.io/evnexus_app/privacy/.
